What makes this trip unique?

The historical cave Papanikolis
Our first stop to start our journey through the best way is Papanikolis Sea Cave is one of those places that people flock to see, and it is well worth the trip. Did you know that the cave is large enough for large ferries and ships, even those with tall masts, to sail inside? Let the guide tell you all about it. This cave has been around for thousands of years, and it has gone by different names. Today, it is referred to as the Papanikolis cave and was named after a famous submarine from World War II. Unfortunately for security reasons you are not allowed to swim at the cave but the scenery is just magical.

Blue Lagoon: A little source of Maldives at the mainland part of Greece
Our first on our voyage of discovery is the Blue Lagoon, where, historians say, during the Middle Ages Arabian pirates moored their ships whilst planning raids along the coast. Our yacht will drop anchor here giving you the chance to swim in the translucent water of this picture-perfect bay.

Sivota: The Fjords the Ionian Sea
As the trip progresses we will continue our journey and sail through the small islands of Sivota, sometimes called the Ionian Fjords. Fierce sea battles between the Corfiots and Corinthians took place in these waters in 432B.C., prior to the start of the Peloponnesian War that lasted for 30 years. Relics of the sunken vessels are still found at the bottom of the sea today. Sivota is a typical marina village. The teal waters that surround the coast complement perfectly the perfect pebble beaches and lush green landscape. There will be time to explore and discover what attracts many sailing yachts during the summer months.

Parga: The little town of Epirus than looks like popped out from a cart postal
Our adventure continues by sailing down the coast to Parga, known for its beautiful architecture and calm bays. See the remains of a Venetian castle, built by the residents in the 11th century to protect them from pirates and the Turks. Discover the small island with a church dedicated to the Virgin Mary and Venetian and French-style buildings. A location where Arabian pirates are said to have moored their ships in the Middle Ages.

The colorful houses rise up into the hillside that surrounds the bay. Some words about its interesting history; invasions by the Venetians, who considered Parga to be a bridge between Turkish occupied Greece and Venice, the French and the British, who sold the town to Ali Pasha, the despot ruler, or ‘Pasha’ of Rumelia, the European Territories of the Ottoman Empire. All land and businesses became the property of the Turks, which continued until 1913 when Parga became part of Greece. Parga has scenery that makes you think it is an island with the Castle overlooking the town. There will be time to stroll through the winding, narrow streets to chance upon some interesting boutiques or have some lunch in a seafront taverna.
